Arana Gulch

Arana Gulch This city parkland is a greenbelt gem, featuring grassland meadows, heritage oaks, and lush riparian habitat along Arana Creek. The highly endangered Santa Cruz Tarplant is grows here, especially in the southern end of the meadow, towards the bay.

While a park management plan is being completed, hikers can enjoy existing pathways. Other trail users should contact the Santa Cruz City Parks and Recreation Department (phone 408-429-3663) about interim trail uses.
